I'm Kelvin Brillante. I'm a martial artist, endurance athlete and strength and endurance coach. I created Initial Mile to help you transform into a well-balanced, hybrid hero of your universe through hybrid training inspired by some of our favorite fictional anime heroes. Hybrid Training
What is Hybrid Training? If you Google Hybrid Training, the common, compiled description is "A workout method that combines resistance training and cardio training." Amongst the fitness world, hybrid training is commonly known to specifically combine weight lifting and running. Coming from my own personal experience and background, Initial Mile's hybrid training approach combines more than two practices. The majority of training includes running, martial arts training and calisthenics practice. Running can help improve overall cardiovascular endurance and speed, martial arts training can help hybrid heroes learn fight fit skills, build explosive power and create a powerful, resilient mindset and calisthenics can help increase muscular strength and aesthetics.
Initial Mile's Approach to Fitness
Although Initial Mile workouts are created following essential training protocols backed by science, Initial Mile's workouts also take inspiration from some of the most legendary battles and training we see in the fictional, anime hero universe, hence the term, Anime Inspired Hybrid Training.
Overall training doesn't have to be a monotonous chore. With some science and a little bit of fictional anime inspiration, we can all adapt, evolve and ascend to unlock the performance potential that's hidden within ourselves and transform into the anime hybrid hero of our universe whether that means going "Saiyan", "Plus Ultra" or achieving "A-Class Hero" level.
