This yoga flow routine, Runners Yoga Flow, can help hybrid heroes improve their overall flexibility, mobility, core strength and run performance.


Imagine combining strength, flexibility and mindfulness of yoga with the intensity we see some of our favorite anime heroes. This Runners Yoga Flow was designed specifically for those of you hybrid heroes seeking to improve your overall running performance to move like some of the anime heroes we see in the anime universe such as Saitama, Mashle and Goku.

Runner Yoga Flow Details:

Complete each exercise in sequential format.

Complete each exercise for 30-60 seconds or 3-5 deep breaths.


Runner Yoga Flow Routine:

Seated lateral reach

Cat & cow pose

Downward dog

Lizard stretch

Half split

Deep squat

Hand to big toe hook

Warrior 3 pose

Triangle pose


Runner Yoga Flow Exercise Alternatives:

Lizard Stretch > Deep Lunge Stretch

Half Split > Seated Hamstring Stretch

Hand to Big Toe Hook > Standing Hamstring Stretch with Support (Table, chair etc.)

Warrior 3 Pose > Warrior 3 pose with Support (Table, chair etc.)


Coach Notes:

  • Follow a 3 second deep breath count for each exercise. Inhale for 3 seconds and exhale for 3 seconds. Modify breath length as necessary.

  • Modify time length for each exercise.

  • Execute each exercise at your own comfort level.

  • Flow can be repeated 3-5 days per week.

  • Use yoga blocks and/or wall to support single leg poses.
